Dr. Florida, MAOM, Ph.D. is an Integrative Medicine Practitioner. Her doctorate was in Metaphysical Healing from the University of Sedona. She wrote her dissertation on how "Emotions raise consciousness and in turn, we learn to master them through consciousness." She is an empath and has extensive experience in mood and emotional disorders as well as digestive health. Her training is based on Oriental Medicine, Metaphysics, Kaballah and over twenty years of attending healing retreats and reading mindfullness books. See her full bio here. Her treatments and therapies treat all of these areas for whole health healing. In addition to Oriental Medicine she uses functional medicine testing, therapeutic yoga, meditation, and Qigong therapy to help her patients with balance, injuries, pain, and mental emotional well being in her local Houston clinic.
